guitar action, low light?

I'm looking to play a little acoustic guitar, but I'm really used to the action a dim light Electric. have went to play a little, but they seem to require a tightening of the grip of the bear to play. It's the kind of action I'm looking for typical guitars high or somthing that can be addressed through adjustments in the neck.
