The test of time often proves that you are dealing with a qualified company is not exceptional. The Martin Guitar Co. was started in New York way back in 1833 by CF Martin Sr. Being a native of Germany, based on some obscure information, the move to New York is somewhat comical in nature. Mr. Martin was a manufacturer guitar, or luthier. His prowess wood caused a lot of pressure from Cabinet Makers Guild and the Violin Makers Guild to join their unions (yes, they had the unions there long). Within a few years he fled to America to open the Martin Guitar Company in New York. Yet two years later, the factory was moved to Nazareth, Pennsylvania and stayed there and expanded as necessary ever since.
The first thing that hits you as you enter the factory is a quote Eric Clapton's "If I could choose what to come back as it would be a Martin OM-45. Words like this brought to mind how much people love their Martin guitars. I specifically tell them to love beauty, love and material placed in the building of Martin guitar. Simply put, because of the excellent work of Martin and his guitar tone and playability incomparable, they are the gold standard for aspiring guitarists. To get a Martin guitar, or even a custom Martin is one of the few rites in your life with that amount significance.
Martin openly swells the chest when it comes to its place in American music and all see (no pun intended) musicians who have used and swear by their instruments. As Martin Company celebrates its 175 years of a business is feeling the tremendous legacy will continue to create greatness.

Before I forget, it is very important to note that only you can admire the beautiful guitars, but you are encouraged to choose an up and starting to take off a few notes. If you love the guitar as the folks at Guitar Players Center, this is the kind of relaxing, fun and informative trip to take. With the amount of experience and love put in the production process, it would be difficult not wanting a Martin acoustic guitar after the tour.
