Http: / / www.guitarcenter.com/Ovation-Celebrity-CC44-Acoustic-Electric-Guitar-103574794-i1149078.gc http://www.guitarcenter.com/ or Epiphone, PR5-E Acoustic-Electric-Guitar- 102115581-i1150086.gc The Epiphone unpluged sounds better than what I heard, but the Ovation sounds better connected within I can get one fro 200! I'm just not a witch sure somone will cause sell me one for 200 ... I want to use it as an acoustic, but I'll turn it on when I'm in my room and not out and about with her ... You can hear the ovation without being connected? I'm so caught up in a witch that I want to help me make my choice please!
You can still hear the ovation without turning it on, but the sound is not as high as that of the wood-bodied Epiphone. The bowl back is comfortable to play because it fits nicely against your body, but also weakens sound output a bit. If you can, it is worth going to a guitar store and comparing the two (or similar models), since they have very different sounds and feels the them. In my experience, Ovations have thinner necks (type of intermediate - thicker than Ibanez neck, but thinner than Epiphones), which can make an ovation more comfortable for you to play. But if you have long fingers and strong arm fat guitar can not be a problem for you. Acoustic-Electric are basically acoustic guitars, however, so you should be able to hear any well without using an amplifier. The only difference between acoustic and acousto-electric is that you have the option to extend the acoustic-electric pickup trucks since they were added.
