Rhythm Guitar Encyclopedia

Can you imagine a world without music? No music, no tunes, no rock, roll, no jazz, no hymns, the boogie-woogie, no country western not symphonies. No singing in the shower. The Lovers whistling Dixie. Would not have songs of romance. There would be no such thing as "our song". Sinatra could not fly to the moon. Elvis could not complain about people stepping on his blue suede shoes. Tony Bennett would have to write a letter about how he left his heart in San Francisco. Willie might go on the road again, but without a guitar. And Ray Charles would be pretty strange on stage without a piano in saying that Georgia is on your mind. And at the reception, what would they dance? The Funky Chicken just not the same without music. Once the rhythm is part of the music, without battery even be allowed. And the honeymoon I suppose would take place with radio news on, or, perhaps, the educational channel accompanied by the drone of an air-conditioning. When the baby arrives, we pack it to sleep with a reading of Shakespeare? Or maybe reading random from the dictionary or encyclopedia? We took her to sleep with words? Nursery Rhymes would have to be sung or recited instead of sung. Music programs School was obviously missing, as would school choirs and orchestras and bands. When the football team the school plays, there would be no school fight song. Cheerleaders would have to applaud and dance music no less.
And when those birthdays roll around, we would have to pray all together in a monotone "happy birthday to you. "And when duty calls, which soldiers march, and what would take the place of music in parades, since there would be bands? John Philip Sousa would have to get a day job. And on July 4, there would be patriotic songs - just speeches. At Christmas time, there would be no Christmas carols. No music gospel awakening on Easter, no hymns in church. And you can imagine, no radio music? Nothing but news and talk shows and bla bla bla bla .... I do not know about you, but I had so far only thinking about it. I'm going to the piano now to celebrate the fact that our Creator gave us the wonderful and inspiring and uplifting Sun the music that we all take for granted.
I think I'll play a rhyme or two, then the wedding march, then Silent Night, then Auld Lang Syne, then Fur Elise, then the blues, jazz, and then a little, then ... and then ...
