0So, you would like to start a Mobile Disco?
OK then, so you would like to start a Mobile Disco and become a mobile DJ is great! But where do you start?
Well before we get to that let me say this - the term "disco mobile "or" Mobile DJ "tends to lead to different reactions in people dependent on their own personal experiences of Mobile Disco and let's talk about that later.
First Things First
First and most importantly to become a DJ is of course music, is logical that you must like music, to be a DJ! This may sound blindingly obvious, but if you're a fan of Bon Jovi, for example, and no other music you is out of Bon Jovi, then, quite simply, be a mobile DJ is not going to work, unless you just do shows for fans of Bon Jovi, of course, but somehow I think the normal work just would not be there. (Any Bon Jovi fans out there offense is not intended, I like some of their stuff myself, it was merely an example).
In the world of mobile DJing you must be open and receptive to all types of music and all the audiences are not the same thing, actually I do not think I've ever come across any two that are equal, all you'll ever have its own unique elements no matter how subtle.
For example, looking at my experience in itself, my catalog of songs and tastes now go so many different types of musical genres and styles. Coming myself from the United Kingdom and a fund of Motown, Northern Soul, Disco and Jazz Funk as my roots, if someone had for me then that in twenty years I would consider music styles such as Swing / Big Band Music, Country, Rock, Punk (New Wave), Ska and more recently, Salsa, like styles of music acceptable to use to create the right atmosphere for a good party I would have thought they were crazy! But I'm here and it's true.
No I mean I like all songs of all time but you must have an open mind about how it will pay off dividends in the future when your out his DJing.
Let's face it, the end of the day, the more versatile you are the more you're business thrives Mobile Disco and that is the key to that success, you should treat this as a business - not a night out!
Other People Impressions
For most people, when you mention the term Mobile DJ spring several images in their minds, depending on age and experience. Could be a wedding reception or party that participated in a hotel or even an event in a working Mens Club or Community Center!
Even a famous club DJ or radio can be considered a mobile DJ, depending on the type function have been doing at the moment.
Just think about it for a moment.. . . you may remember several images from experiments you had in the past about what is and is not a DJ There are several different types of DJ out there, so here's a summary of the different types you might really want to avoid becoming.
Cheesy DJ - usually a case of bad jokes and worse taste in music, talking nonsense all night thinking that all women love and that he is the best thing since sliced bread.
The "Night Out" DJ - usually appears to show her wearing ripped jeans and old, have a cigarette and a microphone in one hand and beer in the other and thinks that any idiot can get that music!
The Dreamer-s who think he is playing in Ibiza Dance, Trance and anything else he can lay his hands on to ensure that your "show Ibiza" lasts until the end of the night, while he is actually doing a wedding reception for Lynn and Paul in Birmingham, who's 2-92 wedding guests go home stunned wondering what just happened to them!
Unfortunately we've all seen these types of DJ's and wondered how they can get to work, but the sad truth is that they get to work! Â Luckily there are still some very good Mobile Disco is out there and if you want to be one of them you need to work with him and treat your business like your own corporate empire with the image to match.
REMEMBER. . . You is there to play for their customers not to self - Keep them happy and you will have more work!
