What level of guitar should I be concerned?

I've played for a year, have not taken a guitar lesson 1. I know other base + chords (Major, Sus4, maj7, m7 and others?) I know very few (major scales, minor pentatonic, major pentatonic harmonic minor, dorian, phyrigian, Lydian modes and minor, minor blues) I can play easy songs like Californication and the chords of Hotel California almost perfectly, less than 3 errors. I can play Sweet Child O Mine intro almost perfectly. I can play these songs (full): Stairway to Heaven Californication All Things Small Beer Peace of Mind How far we've come Smells like teen spirit Dani California and am currently learning Fade to Black ..

It is rare to be a beginner ... I would say lower intermediate level. But without hearing you play, it's hard to say. After 1 year of play (no classes as well) I was playing note-for-note pretty much Metallica, Guns N Roses, Alice In Chains, Pearl Jam ... including soils. Also, I was beginning to learn things from Satriani and Vai. But it just depends on how much you practice and how much you want get better! Also ... I always say "You're as good as the songs that right." Anyone can learn to play guitar and tons of people who can tear the garbage out of the guitar, but if you can not right his own songs (with some originality and creativity), then you're just another guitar player ...
