In what order should I connect my guitar effects pedals?
My pedals: EHX USA Big Muff Pi, EHX Small Clone Chorus, Dunlop Crybaby original, and Boss Bf-2 Flanger. I heard that the order makes a difference in the sound you get, so it was said, in order that I could get the best sound of my art. Furthermore, I intend to get a delay pedal soon, so that should be considered in my chain of effects as well.
Is there a correct order for execution. It follows a basic guideline: # 1 Preamp pedal types in the first place, this includes the distortion and overdrive units. # 2 EQ follows, as a band of seven EQ effects pedal # 3 modulation like chorus and flanger effects Delay # 4 If you come last is an effects loop on your amp, then use the pedals in this order in the circuit. The effects loop takes the signal from your amplifier, which is much more powerful, and runs the signal through its effects. Thus, the pedals do not have to work so hard and sound much better. The signal comes from its effects and is returned to the right amp stage before the final volume. This helps to eliminate noise from your signal chain. Wah pedal must be the first thing in the string (guitar wah) If you are using an amplifier with a loop and then head right wah into the amp and use the loop as mentioned above. If your amp has an effects loop and then run the guitar on wah then to the rest of his effects in the order suggested setting reminds me of my first effects created. I had the Big Muff, Small Clone, Small Stone, (shifter) and memory man deluxe, with an original crybaby wah and a few odds and other purposes. Ah the good old day! (That was about 30 years ago!)
