Has anyone played or owned a Epiphone Les Paul Special 2?
I need a new guitar and I am an intermediate level player. I do not need anything fancy just something basic that is quite enjoyable to play and sounds good. I was consultant to the Epiphone Les Paul Special 2 for some time now. I played some epiphone (not this one) and really liked the neck and tone. Any who have something to say about this guitar?
2, Special is a guitar for beginners OK. Any guitar around $ 200 will not be great. If you're an intermediate player I'd look for something a little nicer. If you like Epiphone, Les Paul Standards check or G-400 (their model SG). They cost 400 to $ 450. In addition, take a look at Mexican Fender Strats. Ibanez, Schecter, and ESP guitars is also very right around the same price range.
