How can I train myself to use more than one finger on my guitar? (Fretboard)?

I am a novice to use the guitar. I only use one of my fingers, which is my index. This makes it difficult to play. I can not understand with all my fingers, any tips?

lol ... play Sweet child of mine 1000 times seriously ... however, this is basically how I did it just make sure when you're playing you are using all four fingers.
