New site features reviews of arts, visits to factories and interviews with industry experts
Designed as a one-stop shop for all things guitar, www.guitarfixation.com target = "_blank"> officially launched this month. Soon to be the first and only stop for new guitarists and experienced so much, the site features reviews arts, visits to factories, shop spotlights and interviews with the leading companies responsible guitar.
Website editor Paul Zoskey, says the idea for the Guitarfixation.com was a result of frustration with the existing resources for musicians, "I had long been looking for a single acoustic feature related to the latest news / opinions and information, Gizmodo for a guitar if you will. The problem was I was never able to find it, so I decided why not make the site where I was looking at me? "
Taxpayers guitarfixation.com come from a cross-section music industry, including: San Francisco-based audio engineer and musician Phil Manley (Trans Am, The Fucking Champs, Golden, Oneida and Jonas Reinhardt); guitar trader vintage for Musical Jay Rosen, owner of Classic Bar Music Erin McDermott (Guitar Magazine, Top Ten), San Diego-based musician and owner of Louder Records Tim Soete (the event, The Fucking Champs) and Oakland musician Dan Brubaker (Long Thaw, Generalissimo). The editor of the site is Nikkole Stone Banda Toronto First Person Shooter, and Zoskey itself an avid guitarist based in San Francisco, is best known for his work in Dolby.
Current articles featured on the site include a tour of Rudy's Music Stop in NYC, a venerable Mecca for musicians of all types, as well as an in-depth interview with Santa Cruz Guitars champion and founder, Richard Hoover. Hoover gave access unprecedented guitarfixation.com to your work style of the factory seat and speaks frankly about the challenges facing boutique type companies like Santa Cruz and the emotions associated with the creation of some of the best guitars on the market worked.
A wide range of pedals and guitar reviews are already on site, with more being added daily. Upcoming features include an interview and visit the store with point on the guitars founder / CEO Mike Carparelli, and complete coverage and reviews the LA Amp Show.
